LIMBANG: Two people were arrested by police for drug-related offences during an operation, codenamed ‘Ops Tapis’ at Kampung Pahlawan here yesterday.
Limbang Police chief, Supt Mohd Bukhori Saffai said a total of nine police officers and 34 personnel took part in the three-hour operation which started at 8.00am.
He said during the operation, police raided 11 houses in the area and inspected 25 people including 11 women.
“During the inspection, the police made two arrests under Section 15(1)(a) of the Dangerous Drugs Act, 1952 and 17 summonses were issued for various offences,” he said here, yesterday.
