MIRI: Miri Narcotic police on Tuesday arrested two persons suspected for their involvement in drug addiction activity.
Aged 44 and 27 respectively, the two suspects were nabbed in two separate locations, namely in Krokop and Piasau.
The suspects, both unemployed, were arrested following public tip-off in raids that were held between 9am and 10am.
During the raids, the police also seized suspected illegal substances believed to be Syabu from suspects’ possession.
Both suspects are currently being detained under police custody to facilitate their investigation on the case.
Both the two cases are being investigated under Section 12 and 15 of the Dangerous Drug Act 1952.
