KUCHING: Parti Bangsa Malaysia (PBM) has resolved the party leadership crisis and to focus on the upcoming 15th general election (GE15).

The party information department in a statement today has confirmed that Datuk Larry Sng, as the party president, will sign the candidate appointment letter (watikah) for its candidates in the GE15.

It said the conflict between Sng and his designated successor Datuk Zuraida Kamaruddin over the party presidency, has been resolved amicably after they met at the Registrar of Societies’ (RoS) office in Putrajaya this morning.

The statement was shared by Sng, who is also the incumbent Julau MP, on his Facebook account today.

Meanwhile, the party will announce its list of candidates for GE15 soon.
PBM said, on other matters related to party administration, it will be discussed and resolved after GE15.

The party’s internal issues started last month, when Zuraida was announced to have replaced Sng as its president after a supreme council meeting. However, Sng insisted that he remain as the president as the meeting was held without his knowledge and consent.
