MIRI: Premier Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg and wife, Datuk Amar Juma’ani Tuanku Bujang, distributed ‘duit Raya’ to 33 orphans from Hamidah Orphanage Complex, during the federal Deputy Health Minister Datuk Lukanisman Awang Sauni’s Hari Raya Aidilfitri open house on Monday (April 15) in Jalan Bakam here.
Lukanisman’s house was the fifth visited by Abang Johari and Juma’ani as part of their Aidilfitri open house tour in Miri.
They were greeted warmly by Lukanisman and his family, and they shared moments of joy and camaraderie amid the festive atmosphere.
Earlier, Abang Johari and his wife went to Deputy Minister for Youth, Sports and Entrepreneur Development, Datuk Ripin Lamat’s house in Jalan Airport, before proceeding to Deputy Minister for Women, Childhood and Community Wellbeing Development, Datuk Rosey Yunus’ residence in Taman Bumiko.
Abang Johari and his entourage also made a visit to prominent Malay businessman, Datuk Usop Sani Wahap, as well as local community leader, Temenggong Abdul Rahman Fadzail.
They were accompanied by Minister for Transport, Datuk Seri Lee Kim Shin; Minister for Utility and Telecommunication, Datuk Seri Julaihi Narawi; Deputy Minister for Public Health, Housing and Local Government, Datuk Dr Penguang Manggil; Fazzrudin Abdul Rahman, chief political secretary to the Premier and Tupong assemblyman.
At the same time, Head of State (TYT) Tun Wan Junaidi Tuanku Jaafar and his wife, Toh Puan Fauziah Mohd Sanusi, also visited several houses in Miri.
They were accompanied by Deputy Minister for Tourism, Creative Industry and Performing Arts, Datuk Sebastian Ting Chiew Yew; and Deputy Minister for Utility and Telecommunication, Datuk Dr Abdul Rahman Junaidi.
The couple had also paid Aidilfitri visits to Ripin, Rosey, Usop as well as Abdul Rahman.
