KOTA SAMARAHAN: PUSAKA Surau Committee organised a sacrificial activity in conjunction with the celebration of Hari Raya Aidiladha at the PUSAKA Kota Samarahan Furniture Industry Complex today (1 July).
Also present at the ceremony were the general manager of Sarawak Timber Industry Development Corporation (PUSAKA), Datuk Hashim Bojet and chairman of PUSAKA Surau, Senu Mas.
The activity, which is the 15th such activity being held, was also attended by more than 100 employees and subsidiaries of PUSAKA.
A total of six cows sacrificed for this programme were donations from PUSAKA staff, retirees and subsidiaries. PUSAKA also donated a cow to Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Agama Tun Ahmad Zaidi Adruce (TUNAZ).
The sacrificial meat was distributed to 180 people in several villages and non-governmental organisations (NGOs) around Kuching and Kota Samarahan.
