
KUCHING: Police here arrested three locals including a woman and seized over 60g of drugs believed to be syabu last night.
Acting on information, the Narcotic Criminal Investigation Division (NCID) conducted a raid towards a premises in Pending around 7.20pm.
Kuching district police chief ACP Ahsmon Bajah said via a media statement the team managed to arrest two men and a woman and seized 61.36g of drugs believed to be syabu.
The drugs worth around RM6,136 was taken to the police station for further action.
He added that the suspects were tested positive for methamphetamine and amphetamine.
All three of them are being investigated under Section 39B, Section 39A(1) and Section 15(1)(a) of the Dangerous Drugs Act 1952.
