MIRI: One thousand and three hundred runners including international participants from Brunei, Indonesia, Australia, Japan and Singapore participated in the third Sarawak North Hash on Friday.

The event was flagged off by Cr Jeffery Phang who represented Minister of Transport, Datuk Seri Lee Kim Shin, at the Miri Indoor Stadium.

Phang, in his opening remarks, expressed his delight with the overwhelming response to the event.

“Very often, we see running events being organised in Miri City. This is a good indication that the Miri community as well as all participants in the event enjoy active lifestyles,” he said.
