Sarawak Oil Palms Berhad donates to needy

MIRI: Sarawak Oil Palms Berhad (SOPB) recently donated essential food items to the community through its special relief fund.

Folks from Rumah Edwin Gaun in Sebauh, Uma Badeng Apau Urun and SK Long Urun in Murum were the recipients.

Each family received essentials such as rice, cooking oil, flour, canned food, instant noodles, drinking water and instant coffee.

SOPB also donated cash to Kelab Sosial dan Kebajikan Jabatan Tenaga Kerja, Bakun for its food basket campaign, especially for single mothers in Bakun.

On another note, SOPB continues to provide employment to those who had lost their jobs during the onset of the Covid-19 pandemic, actively recruiting for various positions across Sarawak.
