Satok Youth distributes food aid to flood victims

PBB Satok deputy chairman Datuk Ibrahim Baki (second right) accompanied by branch secretary and political secretary to the Chief Minister Abdul Samat Gany (second left) yesterday visited some of the villages in Satok constituency that were seriously affected by floods, following two days of continuous downpour. Also present were PBB Satok Youth chief Dzamaluddin Zainudin, Petrajaya Service Centre special officer Morshidi Said and PBB Satok Youth exco Naz Ismadi Kalit.

KUCHING: Following the continuous heavy rains since Tuesday night, the Satok Youth movement and Parti Pesaka Bumiputera Bersatu (PBB) Satok have gone down to the ground to inspect the flood situation in some areas in Satok that have been flooded.

According to Satok Youth chief Dzamaluddin Zainudin, among the areas they have visited are Kampung Segedup, Kampung Sungai Maong, Kampung Kudei Baru, Kampung Kudei Lama, Kampung Muda Hashim Bandarsah, Kampung Muhibbah as well as Kampung Patingan.

He said all the flood victims in Kampung Segedup have been evacuated to Dewan Segedup today.

Dzamaluddin was also accompanied by PBB Satok secretary Abdul Samad Gany, Petra Jaya Service Centre special officer Morshidi Said and PBB Satok Youth exco Naz Ismadi khalit.
