SIBU: An Indian national is feared to have drowned after he fell from a tug boat into Sungai Rejang here while at work on Saturday.
The victim was identified as Jatin Kumar.
State Fire and Rescue Department operations centre said they received a distress call on the matter at 2.40pm and a team was quickly deployed to the place.
However, a search and rescue operation could not be carried out due to heavy rain so it was called off. The operation will resume today.
