KUCHING: To provide relief and support to fellow Sarawakians during the current movement control order (MCO), Sarawak Housing and Real Estate Developers’ Association (Sheda) Kuching branch has collaborated with Premier Food Republic to conduct a week-long meal aid campaign.

Through the ‘Sharing is Caring’ campaign which runs from June 18 to 24, free packed lunch is provided, prepared by the existing stalls at five Premier Food Republic outlets.

The five Premier Food Republic outlets are located at RH Plaza, BDC; RH Park, 9th Mile; Emart Batu Kawa; Kota Samarahan; and Tabuan Tranquility.

The free packed lunch set, which includes also includes drinks, can be collected from 10am onwards on a first come, first served basis — limited to 300 sets daily.

The meal aid campaign is co-sponsored by numerous Sheda members, namely Hong Seng Construction (EM) Sdn Bhd, Sim Swee Yong Development & Construction Sdn Bhd, Hock Kui Development Sdn Bhd, RH Vision (Sarawak) Sdn Bhd, Regal Group, and Lafrowda Properties Sdn Bhd.

Sheda Kuching branch in a statement today (June 19) noted that the various levels of MCO enforced had caused some people to lose their source of income or experience a reduction in their income.

“During this full lockdown or MCO 3.0, the government has helped all segments of our society, including the B40, with various assistance.

“However, there are still some who would welcome any help, including cooked meals,” they said.
