BAU: Deputy Minister for Transport (Riverine and Marine) Datuk Henry Harry Jinep has allocated RM50,000 under the Minor Rural Project (MRP) grant for SMK Singai.
Of the amount, RM40,000 was for the school’s resource centre and RM10,000 for its Parent Teacher Association (PTA).
Henry, who is Tasik Biru assemblyman presented cheques for the amount during the school’s PTA charity dinner held at Redeems Centre here recently.
At the event, he also announced an allocation of RM400,000 under the Rural Transformation Project (RTP) grant to build a new multipurpose hall at the school.
Meanwhile, another RM120,000 was approved under the RTP grant to upgrade SMK Singai’s football field.
