State govt sets up i-Alert app

KUCHING: A mobile application called i-Alerts has been set up to keep people informed of the latest update on the Covid-19 situation in the state. 

The official app is an initiative by the Sarawak government to keep Sarawakians up to date on the status of the Covid-19 crisis. 

The app also serves to help the state combat fake news so that the public will only receive the correct and right information. 

The official app is managed by the State Disaster Management Committee and information on the app is available in three languages namely English, Bahasa Melayu and Mandarin. 

The app is available on both Google Playstore and Apple App Store which can be downloaded on the said platform by searching the name ‘i-Alerts’. 

Sarawakians are encouraged to download the app and play an active role in combating Covid-19.
