KUCHING: A total of 1,000 packs of bubur lambuk (savoury porridge) were distributed to motorists passing through Metrocity, Jalan Matang here this evening.
The distribution of the porridge was organised by the staff of New Sarawak Tribune (NST) and Suara Sarawak (SS).
NST and SS chief operating officer Mohd Sardon Zainal said the distribution of bubur lambuk is done during the month of Ramadan every year for everyone, including non-Muslims, to enjoy during the breaking of fast.
This is part of NST and SS’s initiative in giving back to the community as well as to enliven the atmosphere of Ramadan every year.
