KUCHING: The public are invited to the launch of ‘The Bin Art Exhibition’ held at Saradise Gallery on Saturday (Feb 11) at 3pm.
According to Saradise Gallery, the Turning Trash Into Art – The Bin Art Exhibition aimed to illustrate the extensive use of plastic waste in Malaysia and the strategies utilised to bring people together through co-creation.
“This exhibition aspires to engage the public in a discourse about environmental protection, recycling, and the environment by displaying works by artists, art collective, educators, and members of the community in order to support SDG3: Good Health and Wellbeing.”
The exhibition is sponsored by Majlis Seni Sarawak (MSS) and jointly organised by Semarak Creative Sdn Bhd, the Faculty of Applied and Creative Arts of Universiti Malaysia Sarawak, Aftermath Thinker from Kolej Pengajian Kreatif of Universiti Teknologi Mara, and Saradise Gallery.
“On behalf of the curators, Mohamad Faizuan Mat and Mohd Razif Mohd Rathi, and the rest of the team, we are inviting everyone to the launch.
“It will be officiated by MSS Board of Director Marzuki Tambi.”
