Two longhouses, one workers quarters put under EMCO

KUCHING: Two longhouses and one workers quarters were put under enhanced movement control order (EMCO) on Monday.

The Sarawak Disaster Management Committee (SDMC) today said the locations are Rumah Slyvester Bunsu Ganyun, Ng Selilai Kakus in Tatau as well Kuarters 15, Ladang Sububu, Samalaju, and Rumah Lampoh Dana, Sg Mas KM25, Jalan Bintulu-Tatau.

All three places will be under EMCO from June 21 until July 4.

SDMC also said the EMCO would be extended at two longhouses in Sibu, namely Rumah Grace Itun, Sungai Salim, and Rumah Pinggan, Sungai Salim, until July 2.

However, Kuarters Pekerja Zedtee Plywood in Tatau will be extended until June 27.

As of Monday, EMCO has ended in five locations, namely Rumah Kanyan Abok, Sungai Penyarai, Kakus in Tatau; Rumah Sewa Pau Timber, KM5 Jalan Bintulu-Miri in Bintulu; Blok E7, E8, W13 & S5 Samalaju Lodge, Samalaju Industrial Park in Bintulu; Rumah Patrick Andin Uli, Sg Serakit, Jalan Sebauh-Bintulu in Sebauh; Rumah Sudok Ujai, Batu Betungkat, KM16 Jalan Tatau-Sibu in

Today, the EMCO has ended in another eight longhouses — two longhouses in Sarikei, namely Rumah Didong Jalan Bayong; and Rumah Robert, Sg Merudu; three in Bintulu, namely Kuarters Pekerja Air Marine Cargo; Rh Sewa Pau Timber, KM5 Jalan Bintulu-Miri; and Bilik Sewa (Atas Kedai Eden).

On the same day, the EMCO has also ended at two longhouses in Sri Aman — Rumah Wilson, Kampung Gran Stumbin, Tanjung Bijat and Rumah Mathew, Kampung Gran A Stumbin, Tanjung Bijat — as well as at Rumah Maring Gelagai, Ulu Sangan in Tatau.

The EMCO at two longhouses in Julau — Rumah Jeffery Mangan Nanga Entabai and Rumah Bungkong Nanga Sejugam — will be lifted tomorrow.
