KOTA SAMARAHAN: Universiti Teknologi Mara (UiTM) Sarawak yesterday received a contribution of RM10,000 from Bank Rakyat Kota Samarahan branch.
According to Bank Rakyat Kota Samarahan branch manager Halmi Mosli, the contribution was made as part of Bank Rakyat’s effort to assist students and staff of UiTM Sarawak who are affected by the movement control order (MCO).
The contribution was also one of the ways for the bank to extend its cooperation and support towards UiTM Sarawak’s effort in assisting its students and frontliners throughout the MCO period.
Halmi handed over the donation to UiTM Sarawak rector Prof Datuk Dr Jamil Hamali in a simple ceremony at his residence in Petra Jaya here yesterday.
