KUCHING: Repair works on a recent pipe leakage which caused water supply disruption in Igan, Mukah was carried out today.
Rural Water Supply Department (JBALB) Mukah stated that the repair work was done to restore the water supply.
“After search and inspection works, we have identified the location of the leakage that caused the water disruption on Thursday.
“Thus, we appointed a contractor to carry out the repair works at the identified section and delivered a temporary supply of water to the affected areas.
“We hope that the temporary water storage is sufficient for the residents in the affected areas. We apologise for any difficulties caused,” it said in a statement.
