BINTULU: The cash payment of the second and third phases of the Cost of Living Aid (BSH), Bantuan Prihatin Nasional (BPN) and Sarawakku Sayang Special Assistance (BKSS) for the state’s remote areas (no bank account) is being held at various locations here.
Minister in the Chief Minister’s Office (Integrity and Ombudsman) Datuk Talib Zulpilip, who is also Jepak assemblyman, thanked all the agencies involved in processing the aid and in ensuring an orderly transaction.
“They include Bintulu District Office, Inland Revenue Board, Ministry of Finance, State Treasury Department, Police, Civil Defence Department, Malaysia Volunteer Corps (Rela) and Bank Simpanan Nasional,” he said after visiting one of the transaction counters at the Bintulu Civic Centre last Thursday.
The counter at the Bintulu Civic Centre had been operating since July 21 and ended last Thursday.
