MUKAH: The movement control order (MCO) has not hindered a housewife, Jacqueline Druis, 52, from pursuing her passion in sports.

Due to the ongoing movement control order (MCO), she can’t go go jogging, but Zumba is fine for her as it can easily be done indoors.

In the morning she does household chores including buying groceries, then from 2pm to 5pm she bakes cakes for sale and fill orders from customers.

“From about 5pm, I do Zumba in the sitting room. This is what I have been doing during the MCO period,” she told New Sarawak Tribune yesterday.

A mother of two daughters, Jacqueline said the MCO also gave her an opportunity to earn a bit from the sales of her cakes.

As for orders, customers place them by phone or through social media, and they came to her residence in town to collect the cakes.

Prior to the MCO, she frequently jogged at Mukah Stadium, sometimes accompanied by her husband, Ishak Tambi, 59.
