Today, they continued their flight to Miri by boarding the Beachcraft King Air 350 (9M-PTA) aircraft belonging to the Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM).

“The crew’s deployment and assignment is expected to increase the level of readiness of the department in providing fire and rescue services in Sarawak, Sabah and Labuan.

“At the same time, it is a preparation to face the Northeast Monsoon which is expected to end in March this year,” he said.

Khirudin on behalf of the Sarawak Fire Department, expressed his appreciation to the Sarawak Disaster Management Committee (SDMC), PDRM and RMAF for their cooperation and support given to the department.
