KAPIT: Hash Club Sarawak Tropical Rainforest Kapit Chapter held a dinner at a restaurant here on Saturday to celebrate its 8th anniversary.
In conjunction with the anniversary celebration, 100 hashers took part in a run at Sungai Man primary jungle here earlier in the afternoon.
The highlight of the evening was the installation of a new committee for the term 2017/2018.
It is headed by the grand master Tan Peng Chuan, joint master Kimi Soon Peng Hai, secretary David Wong Hau Ching, assistant secretary Teo Bun Peng, treasurer Kapitan Jhonny Yiap Hii Hoo, assistant treasurer Kapitan Yap Hui Le, chief hare, Yong Hwa Rong, assistant chief hares were Teo Chai Seng, Wong Ding Heng and Tiong Nai Chui, co-ordinator Soa Yik Hui, general affairs Wee Kiong Siong and committee members Mah Poh Lee, Wong Ting Seng, Liu Chung Ching, Bong Nyong Kui, Mark Soh Hung Chung, Kong Chou King, Saw Seng Chai, Kong Seng Ong, Ma Tian Po, Kong Sian Ming, Ting Hua Kong and Hai Ann.
The new committee took the oath of office in front of the advisers headed by Micky Ngu Kong Siong. The other advisers were Ong Hou Kah, Chua Kim Shia, Teo Chee Boon, ASP Chew Swoi Kee and Liew Ah Chat.
