Juma’ani gives bubur pedas, donations to Sarawakians in KL

KUCHING: A total of 500 packets of bubur pedas were distributed at the Yayasan Sarawak office in Jalan Ampang, Kuala Lumpur, here today.

Juma’ani distributes the bubur pedas to one of the students.

Present to distribute the porridge to Sarawak students from GENIUS@Pintar College, higher education institutions, Persatuan Mualaf Johor (Sarawak), and others was the Premier’s wife Puan Sri Datuk Amar Juma’ani Tuanku Bujang.

At the event, Juma’ani, who is also the advisor of the state Malaysian Government Servants’ Welfare and Sports Council (MAKSAK), also presented donations to four Sarawakian patients who are receiving treatment at Serdang Hospital and the National Heart Institute (IJN), including Sayang Adlina Sharinie Abang Abdillah, Kaylie Nichola, Feodora Rhia Frank Galleh, and Kumbau Anja.

Also present at the ceremony were State Secretary Datuk Amar Mohamad Abu Bakar Marzuki and his wife, who is also the chairman of MAKSAK Wanita Sarawak Datin Amar Baduyah Bujang.

The Minister of Women, Family, and Community Development, who is also Santubong Member of Parliament (MP) Datuk Seri Nancy Shukri, the Deputy Minister of Rural and Regional Development, who is also Kota Samarahan MP Datuk Rubiah Wang, and the Deputy Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department (Sabah and Sarawak Affairs), who is also Mukah MP Datuk Hanifah Hajar Taib, were also present in the programme.

In the meantime, a representative of the recipients stated that the donation received was very meaningful in reducing their burden.
