KUCHING: The Lions Nursing Home will be having its annual food fair on Dec 11 (Sunday) from 8am to 12 noon at its home in Jalan Stutong off BDC, here.
Eighty stalls will be available this year, organised and run by the 16 Lions Club in Region 1, Kuching along with clubs from outside Kuching, namely Lions Club of Sibu Berjaya, Sibu, Lions Club of Miri Central, Miri and Lions Club of Kota Kinabalu Centennial Kota Kinabalu, Sabah.
In a statement yesterday, Lions Nursing Home revealed that donations were received from over 20 Lions Club throughout Malaysia and other non-governmental organisations (NGOs) like Society of the Deaf and Kuching Life Care Society.
“We also do receive donations from private individuals and other commercial bodies. Our guest of honour will be our patron Datuk Hanifah Hajar Taib-Alsree,” it added.
The public is welcomed to show their continuous support by participating and enjoy the food and beverages prepared by some 80 stalls at the home on the day of the event.
