KUCHING: Dennis Tan Hock Beng has been appointed as the new chairman of the Kuching Bicycle and Motor Trader Association for the term 2023-2025, succeeding Lau Soon Yuin who stepped down from the position in order to add internal vitality and strengthen the connection between members.

In a bid to rejuvenate the association, new youth and women’s groups have been set up, with Owen Bon and Maggie Yong leading each group respectively. The association stated that these new groups will not only assist with the association’s affairs but also help to cultivate future successors for the association.

“The association’s success depends on the support and active participation of all committee and association members. With everyone’s help, we can continue to operate and fulfill our mission,” said Tan.

“I have high hopes for the new committee members. I urge them to work together, with a positive attitude and mutual respect, to serve the association and members and promote our shared goals.”
