KAPIT: After a week of frantically searching for the sudden disappearance of his mother-in-law, wife and son, a farmer identified as 40-year-old Banyang Anak Tembaga finally showed up at the police station here to lodge missing person reports on the trio and to seek police and public assistance to locate the trio who have not returned home since they left on 23 November.

According to the police report lodged yesterday, Banyang said that his mother-in-law identified as NusongAnak Ilong, his 19-yearold wife Bulan Anak Senik and their one and a half years old son, Boniface Anak Bilong went missing since 23 November.

Banyang said in the early morning of 23 November, as usual he worked on the farm and upon returning home in the evening their house was empty. He searched everywhere for the trio but to no avail. He further explained that someone saw the trio leaving their house in a van heading for Kapit Wharf Passenger Boat Terminal.

He suspected that they have left for Sibu in an express boat on that particular day. Until today there is no news of them.

He is now seeking for police assistance and also the public to help locate the trio as he is worried for their safety and missed them very much.
