Pustaka holds short video competition

KUCHING: Sarawak State Library (Pustaka) will hold a Short Video Competition 2021 from Jul 1 to Aug 30, in conjunction with the Sarawakiana Festival programme which will be held from Sept 1 to 30 this year.

The first-place winner for the competition will take home RM2,000, second prize (RM1,500), third prize (RM1,300), fourth prize (RM1,000), and fifth prize (RM500) — with each winner also receiving a certificate.

There are also 20 consolation prizes, with each winner to receive RM100 and a certificate. 

The theme for the Short Video Competition 2021 is ‘Leaves’.

Among the objectives of the competition are to dignify the customs, culture, and traditions of the Sarawak community as well as empower local digital content.

In addition, the competition aims to foster interest and creativity among the Sarawak community, especially in the production of short videos.

This competition is open to Sarawakians and people residing in Sarawak only.
