KUCHING: Youngsters above 18 have been invited to join Parti Pesaka Bumiputera Bersatu (PBB).

Its newly elected supreme council member, Mohamad Razi Sitam said the party wants the young generation to sign up since the PBB has introduced the 1828 programme.

“In the upcoming general election, voters aged 18 will cast their votes for the first time.

“Therefore, we want them to be with us because PBB always welcomes the young people. We do not want them to feel neglected by the largest party in Sarawak,” he said at a press conference during the PBB 15TH Triennial General Meeting (TGM) at Borneo Convention Centre Kuching (BCCK) here on Sunday.

On his new appointment, the Women, Childhood and Community Well-being Development Deputy Minister said he was grateful as he was one of the top two in the supreme council member (Bumiputera) list.

He said as one of the supreme council members, he is committed to the effort to make PBB the strongest party in Sarawak.
