Lee revealed this during a site visit yesterday morning.

The upgrading work  includes the building of a wave breaker around the iconic “Drinking Horse” cliff   located  about 600 metres away from the beach and other facilities such as a food court, a busker’s plaza, a car park, a pedestrian path and a gazebo.

“Meanwhile, for the Tuan Beach’s walkway, an additional funding is needed for the purpose. For a start, the upgrading work will focus on the iconic “Drinking Horse’ cliff. The wave breaker will be built to prevent erosion at the iconic spot.

On the Tusan Beach’s walkway, Lee added he had instructed the Public Works Department (PWD) officers to study the total cost needed to build the stairways at the cliff.
