Wheelchair for disable elderly man from Hope Place

KUCHING: Hope Place recently received a call from a social worker in Sri Aman Hospital requesting to help an elderly man with disability.

Baie bin Ogok, aged 84, cannot walk and needs a wheelchair. Baie is an outpatient at Sri Aman Hospital. A social worker at the hospital called Hope Place requesting for help in providing a wheelchair for the disable elderly man, saying that Baie needed a wheelchair to move around, adding he can’t get to the bath room without one.

Yesterday Hope Place founder Kelvin Wan handed over the wheelchair to Sri Aman Hospital social worker Azzizie.

Hope Place carries out their aid deliveries once every three months because of the many families on their recipients list. Currently it supports more than 200 families.
