SIBU: The Deputy Minister of Public Health, Housing, and Local Government has proposed the establishment of an entrepreneur corner specifically for young entrepreneurs.

Tiang said that creating such a space would provide young entrepreneurs with more opportunities to develop their products.

“I believe it’s important to find and create a dedicated area for local entrepreneurs where they can showcase their skills and trade their goods,” Tiang told reporters after visiting the Sibu Kitchen Programme at Sibu Indoor Stadium today (June 17).

He further expressed his admiration for the incredible creativity demonstrated by these young individuals, particularly in their use of local ingredients like ‘Gula Apong’ to create new recipes.

“I was delighted to be invited to this Sibu Kitchen Programme, which coincides with the 60th anniversary of Sarawak in Malaysia. I consider this program a great success because it offers training and practical experience to local entrepreneurs, enabling them to engage in real business ventures,” Tiang added.
