KUCHING: The Malaysian Convention and Exhibition Bureau’s (MyCEB) presence here is being viewed as a good opportunity to explore potential for business growth and collaboration in Sarawak.

“We believe that collaboration is key to success and a sustainable way to keep the industry strong and productive,” said Business Events (BE) Sarawak general manager, Jason Tan.

“Industry players like yourselves are the backbone, to sustain it and ensure that we continue moving forward,” he said at MyCEB’s engagement with BESarawak’s industry partners here on Monday (March 4).

Tan added that the business events industry is also very fortunate to have strong support from the federal government through MyCEB and the Sarawak government.

“Meeting each other face to face will strengthen partnership and create new opportunities to make Malaysia especially, especially Sarawak, the preferred destination for business events in Asia,” he said.

Moreover, Tan also said that the “My Triple E” campaign is an excellent support initiative from MyCEB to attract more business events to Sarawak.
