SIMANGGANG: Donations to the Covid-19 Quarantine and Low Risk Treatment Centre (PKRC) here are very much welcome but they must go through the right channels, said Datuk Francis Harden Hollis.

The minister in charge of the Sri Aman Division Disaster Management Committee (DDMC) said he was very thankful for the two water dispensers donated by the Sri Aman District Chinese Community Leaders Association to the PKRC.

Harden also thanked the agencies that had mobilised resources to ensure that the second PKRC at the Sri Aman Hospital could be used in the near future.

“Careful preparation in anticipation of worsening conditions is the best step in breaking the Covid-19 chain. We hope create cluster immunity by vaccinating eligible citizens,” he explained during the handover ceremony of the water dispensers.

Pemanca Lee Siang Hua handed over donations on behalf of the association to the Director of Sri Aman Hospital Dr Hazwani Mohd Yusop in the presence of Harden.
