Datuk Sebastian Ting distributes Covid-19 hygiene care kits to members of the public.

MIRI: Assistant Minister of Tourism, Arts and Culture Datuk Sebastian Ting distributed over 2,000 packs of Covid-19 hygiene care kits to members of the public at the city centre here On Thursday.

The Piasau assemblyman reminded members of the public on the importance of complying with standard operating procedure (SOP) when they are at public places.

“I decided to go on the ground to send warm wishes to the people and distribute these care kits which consist of soap, hand sanitiser and face masks.

“With the number of daily cases continue to be concerning, I hope the people will always remember to follow the SOP especially social and physical distancing as well as frequent hand washing,” he said in a statement today.

Ting stated that he had distributed similar Covid-19 hygiene care kits to households in his constituency.

“I hope that the state government will consider providing the Covid-19 self-test kits and oximeters to the people as the items are essential for health monitoring,” he added.
